Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students sometimes come to school without essential supplies for learning at school. My school and I try to provide as many supplies as possible, but sometimes there just isn't enough.

Being able to replenish our essential classroom supplies will give my students more opportunity to learn, stay safe, and worry less.

All of these supplies will be used as soon as we get them! The markers, pencils, and erasers are needed for whiteboards that we use daily, and the art supplies will be used for end of the year Endangered Animals projects. Without some of these basics supplies, our classroom sometimes struggles to complete planned activities.

Also, the fun supplies will be used to reward positive behavior for the rest of the year. Fourth quarter is usually where we see behaviors spike, and it would be fantastic to be able to give my students something to work for.

Lastly, the cleaning supplies and tissue will be used daily and weekly while trying to keep our class safe. We hope to stay in school and have everyone attend, and we need our students healthy to do that.

These supplies will make the end of the year so much sweeter, and I know my students will be eternally grateful!
