Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help me create a fun, interactive classroom! These materials will help me create fun, colorful, and educational games and activities that will help me teach the standards the students need to know.
My students are English learners that struggle to meet grade level standards.
My students need interactive activities to keep them engaged in the classroom. Most of my students are low performing students that need constant review to help them master concepts they need to learn.
My Project
Students will be able to work in small groups with colorful material that is engaging. Colored ink and colored card stock will help interest the students and keep them engaged. These will be used to create supplemental activities that will help the students learn what they need to learn.
With the budget cuts at schools, it is very difficult to get supplies from the school districts.
These students come from low income homes and do not often get things that are "nice". These supplies will help me to provide a warm learning environment that will motivate students to learn.
