My Project

My students lost the opportunity to experience the necessary developmental social experiences that preschool and kindergarten provide because of COVID-19 restrictions. Social emotional instruction has become a necessity in our classrooms. These books will help me provide instruction to students in the areas of managing behaviors, emotions and social interactions. We use Classroom Dojo to also encourage and reward positive behavior. Students dojo can use points to buy different rewards. This has effective in behavior management in my classroom. Having exciting rewards will continue to promote good choices. My school has a large number of students who come from low socioeconomic households. A lot of students can't afford simple supplies. I will be able to provide students with supplies to complete classroom activities. A lot of my students do not have computers at home. Learning to utilize a computer has become an essential part of our society. The computer charging stations will be helpful to keep our computers organized and charged appropriately, so students can use them on a regular basis.
