Esports Beyond - Building Your Own for the Future!

Help me give my students a computer building experience! I am an esports/computer coordinator here at the middle school. I plan on building a computer with my students to learn technology skills.

My Project

Hello possible donors! My name is Kylie and I work with esports students within the middle school environment. This program that I have created helps students gain a team spirit, sport like behavior, and understanding of the technological world are their fingertips.

We provide many avenues for personal growth and positive development in time management, student engagement, and critical problem solving skills.

This particular project is the kickoff in understanding true computer building skills. As it becomes more cost effective to purchase parts and upgrade your PC for whatever you need, students will engage in PC building of our own to use for future gaming. This process is the ability to create connections, build community, and follow directions to enhance gaming abilities. These pathways will be beneficial into high school and college as students gain traction in CTE pathways meant to enhance future career choices.

All students will have the ability to take part in this building exercise and we may also be connecting with our computer science department to facilitate further exploration of possible building abilities. Once we have completed this project the students will then research and find upgraded parts to help our current set ups run even more efficiently as well.

We also will teach money management skills to cost effective price markers to verify products and services that will help while finding ways to create these funds for our program.

We appreciate any and al the help you provide to fund our project and get Esports/Computers up off the ground!
