ESOL Students Love to Play Games

My Students

English is an extremely complex language. Learning through games is a time tested way to help students learn difficult material.

My ESOL students come from a variety of different backgrounds.

Many of them are born in the United States. They are learning English as a second (or third) language. The majority of them are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch. They are all eager to learn.

My Project

My students will use the English Language Learner Game Library to practice a wide range of language skills in a fun way. They will get to practice the basics of written and spoken English. Each game targets a specific skill in grammar, vocabulary or usage. They will use clipboards to help store game materials.

Your donation will help ESOL students to master the basics of the English Language.

Students will have fun learning through the variety of games included in the library. They will use these skills for many years to come.
