My Project

My project is to find material that will help make learning English fun and exciting for my students. Using materials like dry erase boards, games are just the start to help bring their English language to life.This year I have taken on a new position of teaching English as a Second Language to our 6th - 8th grade students. This new position provides me the opportunity to work with our students to help them to prepare and advance in their English language acquisition. The tools I have requested such as, white boards, dry erase markers will allow my student to be able to write in English and be a bale to quickly erase and make corrections. I have chosen the game headbands to allow my student to use English orally to help with their speaking skills. These tools will allow the students to be able to have fun and engage in the learning process. I have noticed that the students are eager to learn and even though they are older children, they are still children and find learning fun!

We Want to be ESL WARRIORS!

The students are so eager to learn English. Many are new to the country and just want to feel like they fit in with the rest of the kids. I hope to give them that chance to explore and meet that goal!
