This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a preschool teacher, I've noticed an increase in the ESL population for my incoming students every incoming school year.
Students are expected to learn English with very limited resources.
I hope, with your help, that my students not only learn and write in English but love learning alongside their peers and teachers.
With more resources, (magnetic letters, beanbags, etc.) I know they will gain the skills needed to express their individuality and the capabilities they possess. I also help to bridge the language barrier and become a cultural mentor to my students with a variety of materials.
