This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are so awesome. They are hard workers that engage in their learning actively and love to use technology to learn in unique ways.
We want to give them a fun way to engage with course content and the library and we want a great way to collaborate with teachers to teach lessons and help with student success!
Our goals are to encourage literature, library, and research appreciation, as well as to collaborate with the community and school to spread the love of books and learning.
My Project
Our school library would like to purchase several Breakout Edu kits for our student and teacher use in order to allow students to work in teams to do escape room style learning.
We would love to do library orientation and collaborate with teachers and do lessons for Science, Math, and ELA in the library using the breakout kits.
The best thing about breakout kits are that you can use them for several different topics and subjects and they are applicable to any classroom and accessible for students.
With breakout kits, we can do this in a very challenging and engaging way involving codes, puzzles, and a race against the clock. Please help support our students' learning and our school library!
