My Students
My students are from a Title I school in north Georgia. This is our school’s first year for an honor’s science class, and we are excited to built our science laboratory!
My students are 160 eager students who are excited to develop their skills in science and prepare for a future in a science-driven world!
They are ready to learn and to put their content knowledge to the test by participating in science experiments. My students are ready to take on the world by learning and doing science!
My Project
What better way to test the students' knowledge than by giving them a scenario escape room challenge? Students will have to race against time, answering questions correctly, and solving the puzzles before them in order to "escape."
This will give students the opportunity to be actively engaged in testing their knowledge while learning valuable group collaboration skills and having some fun, too!
Even as adults, we love testing our knowledge in competitive settings. The lock boxes, locks and hasps for an escape room setup will allow me to give my students these opportunities many times over since everything in the project can be used across every class and every grade level I teach.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
