My Project

My students love escape rooms and puzzles. When students did the Electricity and Magnetism escape room earlier this year, I discovered that I needed to find ways to step up the game. The locks and boxes will help me add more clues to the activity. The kalimbas and boom whackers will be used for sound wave demonstrations during instruction as well as props during the challenge.

Escape room stories draw in participants in by connecting puzzles and clues into a true adventure.

Students solve clues based on the content of the class demonstrating their knowledge of physics.

We are finishing the year studying Waves, Stars, and the Origin of the Universe. Students will use their understanding of sound waves, light waves, and star classification to solve puzzles within the given time to unlock the prizes within.
