Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students have few books, magazines, or other educational materials at home, so it's crucial that they experience every possible advantage at school. I teach 23 students and most of them are not native English speakers.
As a teacher at a high-poverty school, I am convinced that my students will excel when provided with quality materials and instruction.
I know that when they are immersed in engaging learning activities, they will thrive!
My kids love to paint like Eric Carle! He is their favorite illustrator. In this project, we will have a special Eric Carle day during which we will read several books he illustrated, paint pictures like he does using watercolors, then choose a book illustrated by him to keep at home forever.
