Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Does anyone else find it uncomfortable to sit on a hard chair all day? Me too. I decided to bring my padded comfy swivel chair from home to use in my classroom. Although I cannot do the same for my 20+ incoming second graders, I can use this platform to reach out to generous donors to help me provide more comfortable chairs for them.
Second grade is a crucial year for mastering fluency and reading comprehension.
Students use all their skills from the previous years to improve on these critical points. These Ergo Bounce Chairs will allow children to sit forward and sideways…and even bounce while improving on these necessary skills. Being uncomfortable hinders children's ability to focus. Ensuring an Ergo Bounce chair will not only result in good posture, but will also promote learning.
