Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our fifth-grade classroom, literacy is at the heart of everything we do. To build confident readers and writers, we create a supportive tutoring environment where students can take risks, practice, and grow. However, our well-used whiteboards and markers are running low, and we need fresh supplies to keep our learning interactive and engaging.
With magnetic dry-erase erasers and fine-tip EXPO markers, students can work on reading comprehension strategies, brainstorm writing ideas, and participate in small group tutoring sessions without worrying about running out of materials.
These tools will empower them to revise their work, make corrections with ease, and focus on strengthening their literacy skills.
Your support will give my students the resources they need to express their thoughts, practice fluency, and build the confidence to become strong, independent readers and writers. Together, we can give them the power to erase their doubts and write their success stories!
