This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a joy to teach but more than half of them come from low income homes. Their families cannot always supply the basic materials required for equitable instruction. Wired headphones will allow every student to access teacher made instructional videos and leveled reading and comprehension activities. Computer aided drill and practice instruction helps them build fluency and confidence in mathematics.
Lined white boards help with phonics and literacy instruction.
From letter formation to basic phonics acquisition and writing grammatically correct sentences, lined white boards are invaluable and save resources such as consumable paper.
