My Project
Help give my students materials for our Equity in STEM center. Students will explore the history of equity in STEM, learn about diverse pioneers in science and technology, and engage in hands-on activities that promote inclusion, innovation, and critical thinking. Our students attend a Title I school, and learning about equity for women and people of color in STEM will open up opportunities for awareness, empowerment, and future success.
It will also expose them to real-world challenges—such as underrepresentation, bias, and access to resources—in science and technology fields.
By exploring these issues, students will be better equipped to think critically, develop inclusive solutions, and become agents of change in their communities
