Equity: Basic Classroom Essentials for Our Self Contained Class!
Help me give my students the basic essentials for a functioning self contained classroom. With so many budget cuts this year, my students are lacking key resources to be academically successful.
The students we service are in a Title I school located in the Bronx. Currently with all the budget cuts are kids are lacking the basic resources needed to be academically successful. Supplies such as pencils, pens and printer paper are imperative to their success.
Our students are in a Self Contained class and require differentiation of materials and basic supplies for academic success.
Our students would greatly benefit from crayons, fidget cubes, pens, highlighters , timers and other instructional resources!! Currently our school lacks basic essentials such as printer paper, highlighters due to the new budget cuts city schools are facing.
