Equity and Inclusion Using STEM and Books

Help me give my students a variety of books including equity and STEM.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Tillis's classroom raised $371

My Students

I am privileged to teach 45 outstanding students. My students are very inquisitive, creative, and extremely clever. We are a Title I school where over two-thirds of the population receives free or reduced-price lunch. Even through adversity, these students are still resilient, excited, and enthused about learning.

Our school is very culturally diverse, extremely competitive, and we strive for excellence daily.

Willing, ready, and always trying to stand out above the rest, we need to produce competitive scholars for the future. We are shining stars and would love to shine with or above the rest.

My Project

My classroom has adopted the motto LOVE. LOVE, LOVE during this challenging year. With everything going on in the world today, the one place my diverse students are most comfortable is OUR classroom. All students are valued, respected and with all activities that expectation is always enforced.

The books about racial equity and STEM resources will keep our classroom fun and engaging.

Since the students are limited on items to share, the students will be able to keep items used from 6 in 1 Solar Kit and Simple Machines. Also, students will be able to select books from the classroom library for home use as well.
