My Students
My students are a mix of typically developing preschoolers and those with disabilities. They attend a school in Richmond, Virginia where they are apart of an inclusion supported preschool classroom. My students range from 3-5 years old and they all display 1 or more risk factor to be apart of this specific program. What I love most about my students is how resilient, curious, energetic, loving, eager, and accepting they are. They all have embraced virtual learning with excitement and willingness to trust their teachers along this journey!
My Project
This iPad will allow me to easily share virtual activities and visuals with my students. I can attach a tool to the iPad that will mirror the activity and project onto the computer where I can then share with my students. My students need mostly hands-on experiences and modeling to be successful. The iPad with the attachment can also function as a doc camera where I can show my students in real time and real experiences how to manipulate and complete activities. The iPad has so many apps and resources for young children with special needs that my computer does not have. Having the iPad will give my students more resources and learning experiences:.
