Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students learn best from people they like, and achieve more when they see people just like them in class. Ethnic Studies is a new course that was recently added and it aims to create equity and accessibility. Support their study of other people who look like them and their increased achievement.
By supporting our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement and accessibility, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
The materials I have chosen will support my students in their continued success and access to real world curriculum, current events, and creativity.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
