This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a kindergarten teacher in West Hills, CA to an exceptional bunch of students. My class comes to school excited to learn and they openly accept the challenges of our day!
Our classroom is full of curiosity and discovery, much of which is fostered through books, discussion, and discovery.
Kindergarten is a year of self-exploration, individual growth, and lots of change. It is in this early year of school that students learn the foundation for a lifetime and the skills necessary to navigate the world around them.
My Project
This year has been exceptionally challenging as we transition back to in person learning. Students are academically behind and emotionally distant. Please help me purchase resources from Teachers Pay Teachers to support student learning in a powerful and meaningful way. Teachers Pay Teachers is a great website filled with resources created by fellow teachers, a tool used to purchase lessons and learning activities that are used in the classroom to help support the needs of all students. These resources will be used to engage students and differentiate work for my unique class of children.
