My students need equitable access to technology. We are a BYPD school, but many of the children do not have the means to bring a device to school.

My Students

I have an amazing group of first-grade students. There are a variety of academic levels and varied needs in our class. In addition, there are students with learning disabilities as well as those that are learning English as a second language. We have an eclectic mix of personalities that always make for a fun day.

These children are so excited to learn!

I want to make learning exciting so they will continue associating school with a fun place to be!

My Project

Our school is a BYOD (bring your own device) school. We are trying to ensure that children are able to use technology quickly and effectively. In order to give them the ability to use this technology, they have to have it available for them.

However, not all children have the means to bring a device to school.

Additionally, not all parents trust their young children to be responsible for them. Adding additional tablets to our class when enable equitable access for all students. These children deserve the best ,and I want to be able to provide that as their teacher.
