Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a new teacher eager to make a positive impact, I'm filled with excitement about the incredible potential of my future students. I envision each of them thriving and reaching their fullest potential with the right resources. The reading and phonics materials I've selected will be essential for building their literacy skills and boosting their confidence. I can already imagine how engaging the tactile alphabet flashcards and hands-on math games will be for them, making learning fun and interactive.
Additionally, the manipulatives for fine motor skill development and alternative seating options will create a supportive and adaptable learning environment.
I'm especially excited about the STEM bins, which will encourage exploration and creativity, fostering a love for hands-on learning. These resources will empower my students with mild to moderate special needs, enabling them to flourish academically and discover the joy in learning.
