Equipping Future Public Safety Leaders with Technology and Learning Tools!

Help me give my students computers, headsets, a surge protector, and a cultural trivia game to ensure uninterrupted learning, enhance comprehension, and foster teamwork in our Law and Public Safety classroom.

My Project

I love my students’ curiosity, resilience, and eagerness to engage in real-world learning. As middle schoolers in the Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security pathway, they are developing critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills that will prepare them for careers dedicated to serving and protecting our communities. What makes them special is their ability to apply knowledge in meaningful ways while embracing hands-on learning experiences.

This project will provide essential resources to enhance their education and ensure uninterrupted access to coursework and skill-building activities.

The HP 23.8" Full HD Touch-Screen All-in-One computers will be invaluable when students face device shortages or technical issues. Since 85% of our learning takes place on Canvas, these computers will serve as reliable workstations, allowing students to complete assignments, conduct research, and engage in interactive simulations without disruption.

The headsets will support students who need the immersive reading function within Canvas, helping improve literacy and comprehension. This tool fosters independence and ensures all students, especially those who require auditory support, can engage with complex law and public safety concepts.

The Power Strip Tower Surge Protector will ensure all devices stay powered safely and efficiently, preventing disruptions caused by dead batteries or limited charging options.

Finally, Trivia For Us: A Mind Game for the Culture will provide an engaging and culturally enriching experience. This interactive game fosters teamwork, quick thinking, and cultural awareness, essential skills in law and public safety.

My goal is to create a dynamic, inclusive, and technology-supported learning environment where students stay on track, build confidence, and deepen their understanding of law and public safety, preparing them for success in this career pathway.
