Help me give my students opportunity to have their own whiteboard and dry eraser sets for school. Using the whiteboard is an essential part of their education. Sharing causes wear and tear and eventually unable to use.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Whiteboards are essential tools for daily instruction in today’s classroom. Unfortunately, due to the limited resources, students are often required to share whiteboards. This frequent sharing leads to wear and tear, reducing their effectiveness and lifespan. Damaged boards hinder student participation, engagement, and the ability to practice new skills independently.
Providing each student with their own individual whiteboard and dry eraser would not only improve their daily learning experience but also promote responsibility and extend the longevity of the materials.
My students that struggled with reading and writing enjoyed using the whiteboards. It allowed them to answer the multiple questions and the smile on their faces was if they felt an achievement.
I am seeking your support to equip every student with a complete whiteboard set. This small investment can make a big difference-enhancing the classroom instruction, supporting active learning, and building stronger academic outcomes.
The students often use their clothes or fingers to erase and start over or, I wipe them with Clorox wipes and dry them with a dry napkin.
Please help me place a whiteboard and eraser in every student’s hands. Together we can erase barriers and write a brighter future.
