My Project

Every day, my Algebra 1 students walk into class full of potential, curious, creative, and capable of so much more than they realize. Many of them are navigating challenges far beyond the classroom, yet they still show up, eager to learn. What they need now is a learning environment that matches their dedication, one that is organized, engaging, and equipped for success.

This project will transform my classroom into a space where students can truly focus on learning.

The MacBook Air will allow me to create interactive math lessons, provide instant feedback, and access dynamic tools that bring Algebra to life. The dry-erase markers, pencils, chart paper, and organizers will help create a structured, student-centered environment where materials are accessible and lessons are visually engaging. Tools like the clipboard storage, utility cart, and desk organizers will streamline instruction and reduce wasted time so students can spend more time doing the work that matters.

My goal is to make Algebra approachable for every student, especially those who have struggled with math in the past. I want them to feel confident, capable, and supported. These resources will help me foster a learning space that empowers students to take risks, ask questions, and see themselves as mathematicians.

My students are special because they are resilient. Many of them come from under-resourced communities, but they are full of ideas, potential, and a deep desire to succeed. They deserve a classroom where the tools reflect their brilliance.
