This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from diverse neighborhoods. They are all eager learners despite the many challenges they may face. They come from diverse backgrounds, both economically and culturally. I am proud to say our school is all-inclusive, and we celebrate the diversity of our students to the max.

Many of our families are first and second-generation immigrant families who are new to the country, planting seeds for their own success and for future generations to come.

Education is a top priority, regardless. Invest in our future! We will all benefit!

My Project

The students need to burn off their energy. Many of my students don't have a place other than school to exercise in a safe place. The pandemic has limited the activities my students can participate in outside of school. School has to be the place the students learn sportsmanship and being active for a healthier life.

We need more equipment to encourage and motivate the kids to participate in activities that require at least an hour a days worth of physical activity.

Whether it be playing soccer with swimming noodles as the goal or playing dodgeball with foam balls or stretching their muscles with resistant bands, the equipment will make it more enjoyable.
