This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our student-athletes are members of a successful soccer program who has won state, made 2 state appearances, and won the city championship.

Our soccer program is one giant family.

The boys consider the team their second family.

The student-athletes are committed to soccer, each other, and their academics. They are always striving to be the best student-athletes that they can be, and our program is constantly pushing them to be their very best self.

My Project

We are requesting equipment that will make our soccer season successful. We have three levels and our program plays at a park 2.5 miles from school. We need a lot of equipment to help us transport the soccer gear. By having proper equipment the team can focus on developing as athletes and succeeding as a team. In addition, having the proper equipment will allow them to play at the elite level against Premier level schools. Being a public school, equipment is always scarce and sometimes becomes an obstacle when competing at an elite level.
