My Students

We are starting a brand new school in Cleveland that is centered on the International Baccalaureate curriculum. Our students come from all over Cleveland and represent a dynamic mix of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. The students, however, have one characteristic that truly stands out: their love and eagerness for learning.

We want to create a dynamic music program that can reach out to our great mix of cultures so that everyone is involved.

In being a new school, it is up to me and my students to create that program and it starts with a solid foundation in the band, orchestra, percussion, and modern band classes.

My Project

As our music program has grown, we have acquired a lot of equipment to help us perform more complex music. Now, we need to be able to use our equipment more manageably.

We need a keyboard stand and tablet mount for our new percussion equipment and we need a high quality tambourine in order to play more varied repertoire.

This will allow us to perform without having to swap instruments off keyboard stands and to have a tablet in an easy accessible location which powers our new malletstation.

Additionally, a good quality tambourine will allow us access to more music we cannot currently play without one.
