My Students

The students at my school are not only amazing, they are resilient! I teach physical education classes to grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. Starting last year with the strict COVID restrictions my students powered through familiar games and activities that had to be altered for safety. Learning new rules we found ways to stay active and have fun while being safe.

Finding enough equipment to keep full classes of kids separate but engaged is a challenge.

Having the chance to purchase more equipment will not just give more students the chance to participate, it will ensure that there is extra equipment on hand if something breaks or wears out from too much play.

My Project

This equipment will provide the opportunity for more students to be able to enjoy the learning experience and give me safe ways to store the equipment for future students to use. Being able to store equipment on a rack makes for a quicker clean up and also makes it easier to clean and disinfect.

Being able to provide enough equipment for students to play and learn with is a must in this time of safety Covid precautions.

When there is enough equipment for all the students to use then the class can spread out farther which helps to keep all students safe.
