This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of unique students how are excited to learn every day! Many of my students are English Language Learners and have limited exposure to English at home, so as their teacher it is a privilege to enrich their learning as much as possible.

As a teacher it is my responsibility to make sure that my students get both a character education plus a rich instructional education.

My Project

My students are in need of these Spanish books because they need to be able to access information not only in English but in Spanish as well. The school provides a multitude of resources in English however when it comes to Spanish materials there is a lack. These books will allow my students the necessary materials so that they are able to learn like all of the other students in the school.

Reading is such an important skill and by giving my students books and information in their native language they will be able to better understand and have an opportunity to an equal education.

These books will allow my students to learn and grow as scholars and make them feel accomplished because they are able to participate like everyone else.
