Hello and thanks for looking at this project! I will be teaching my first year in 6th grade this year, and am so excited to spend the year with these kids! I taught 5th grade last year, so many of them I know really well already, and they are an amazing group of kids!
These kids are extremely skilled in using technology in the classroom, and the only thing holding them back from doing it more is the lack of technology I have in the classroom.
iPads are extremely diverse tools that will and can be used in nearly every subject we cover, and do so in an exciting way.
Some examples of ways they will be used is in creating “Book Trailers,” where they will be put into book groups, read a book, and then create a movie trailer based on their book that will be shown in an assembly in front of the school.
I don’t want the reason my students don’t learn as much as they can be that I didn’t have the resources to help them. Your help is so appreciated in helping me to help them grow!
