My Students

I teach a group of 21 third grade students in a face to face learning environment. They are the sweetest students who are always eager to learn new things. They are often overheard giving compliments to each other, helping each other solve problems, and encouraging each other to do their best.

My Project

Books, books, and more books..... I feel my students can never have enough books. I want my classroom to overflow with a plethora of different types of literature that is engaging for all readers.

My passion for books is contagious and I firmly believe my students will benefit from being exposed to worthwhile literature.

I read to my students each day to help develop that love of reading. We discuss each and every book. We focus on character development, theme, main idea, and so many more reading standards. Last year, I read 300 books to my third graders and I hope to read even more this school year.
