My Project

Our school library is the heart of our community, a place where students come to discover, dream, and explore. But for too long, our library has been lacking the kind of books that truly capture the imagination and inspire a lifelong love of reading. I am requesting The Complete Dragons Collection, The Complete Dream Traveler's Collection, The Millie Maven Trilogy, The Complete Impossible Collection, and The Dragon Rider Who Saved The World Trilogy to add to our library shelves. These books will give our students access to extraordinary adventures filled with dragons, dreamers, and daring quests that will spark their curiosity and encourage a deep connection with reading.

For many of our students, reading is not just an academic requirement, but, a gateway to worlds beyond their own, where they can see themselves as heroes and dreamers.

By adding these fantasy and adventure series to our school library, we will give all of our students access to stories that fuel their imagination and nurture their intellectual growth. These books will not only improve literacy by strengthening reading skills and expanding vocabulary, but, they will also offer students the chance to engage in creative thinking, explore new ideas, and develop problem-solving abilities through exciting and complex narratives.

Our goal is to build a library collection that inspires reading for pleasure. With these high-interest books, we aim to create a space where students feel excited about checking out books, where even the most reluctant readers will be drawn to stories that captivate and challenge them. We want students to engage with these adventurous worlds and take away lessons of perseverance, teamwork, and bravery. In doing so, we hope to foster a deeper love for learning and build stronger literacy foundations across grade levels.
