Enzyme Lab for AP Biology

Help me give my students a chance to complete a college-level enzyme lab. We currently do not have a budget to afford these supplies for AP Biology.

My Project

This is my first year teaching AP biology and my budget is next to nothing to purchase new lab equipment for labs suggested for the AP biology course.

The items in my cart are used specifically for a lab over enzymes that the students can study how enzymes work and how they are affected by different variables.

Students will be able to look at enzymatic activity in plant material in real time.

The goals for this project is to met the standards set by the AP biology curriculum and to give the students college level biology lab experience. My students are high achieving and motivated students and I would love to give them the opportunity for real, hands on laboratory experiences. This will set them up for success for their AP exam this year, but also in the future as Biology Majors in college.
