This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are wonderful enthusiastic middle school kiddos from low-income families. They strive to get a high quality education and go on to become the 1st in the family to earn a college degree. My school has an engineering magnet and many students are interested in pursuing Science, Technology, Math, or Engineering careers.
I plan on using the snap cubes to teach my students hands-on Geometry concepts and help them understand the concepts of surface area and volume.
We plan on building environmentally friendly, stable, and sustainable structures that use the least amount of resources such as steel and cement, so we continue keeping our Earth green and livable for generations to come.
