Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at our school are amazing because they sometimes have to overcome a lot just to step through the classroom door. On top of what they may have going on at home, they are still overcoming the damage done by the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Yet time and time again, these students amaze me.

They are kind, hard-working, dedicated, and excited to learn. These books will help them learn more about the world they live in, and how they can take care of it. They will also help them become interested in reading and hopefully discover a lifelong love of reading. I am inspired by them to work harder to make sure they get the best education possible and have the most engaging classroom experience possible. My students are some of my favorite people.
