My Students
My students live in a rural community that is economically dependent upon the tourists that visit our environmentally-rich area. Right outside our classroom are world-class rock formations, and we are simply a few miles from two National Parks.
To greater appreciate this beautiful geological-rich environment, we simply need the right tools to help us explore and learn about earth science!
My classroom is in need of science materials to enhance our study of the environment right outside our window. We would greatly benefit from an erupting volcano kit, the watch and grow plant lab, and a classroom set of the TickleMe Plant kit. I have also requested rocks, minerals, and fossils, specimens and books.
My Project
The materials requested will give us the right tools to explore, experiment, and discover in meaningful ways. The study of soil, rocks, fossils, worms, and plants will inspire students to expand their knowledge of the rocks, soil, and plants right in their own backyards and encourage students to think scientifically.
My students need science materials that will increase their knowledge of earth science.
In doing so, students can better appreciate the beautiful geologically-rich environment they call home.
