My Students

Becoming the entrepreneurs of tomorrow takes role models, resources, hands-on activities and imagination. It takes more than just an idea to be a successful entrepreneur, it takes learning from others experiences and educating ourselves to be successful.

We are a group of scholars who love to be challenged.

We are learning about how our education impacts our future and how our current learning is relevant. We attend an Illinois public charter school that has multi-age classrooms, gets a percentage of the per student funding that other public schools receive in our district and that works with scholars to fulfill their potential through a developmental continuum of learning. We are unique and proud to be innovative and create life long learners.

My Project

These resources will help our scholars learn more about the economics conditions that they will face as an entrepreneur. Identifying a need in the community, country or world and finding how they can meet that need through entrepreneurship is a goal for these scholars. Creating an object or a service to solve a problem or meet the needs of the community also creates good citizenship amongst these scholars.

Relevance is one of the most important aspects to teenagers education.

If these teenage scholars do not see the relevance in their education they fall through the cracks. Who wants to go to school all day if they think that it isn't going to help them in the future. My goal as an educator is to make their learning relevant.
