My Project

We want to give our Newcomer students an excellent education (many of whom are refugees).

The Entrepreneur Fair sparks the joy of learning by integrating art, accounting, money, graphing, English language development, and business acumen.

Students use these art supplies so that they can make handcrafted "products" that they "sell" to "customers" (other students using play money).

With scaffolding, students calculate materials costs, labor costs, and profits. They use their developing English skills to brainstorm business plans, write advertisements, and present their reflections at the end of the project.

With your donations, students will have access to craft supplies, play money, and graph paper. Our classroom currently has ZERO supplies such as these. Your donations will give these children a fun and educational experience they will never forget!
