This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are extraordinary scholars. They are strong believers in equality and push for change continuously. They question and challenge consistently.
My students are fearless, independent, and leaders for change.
The school serves students of color. Additionally, it provides free breakfast and lunch every day. As the city they live in grows to be more expensive, many of the students are between homes or homeless. Regardless, they believe the best of the world and want to make it a better place.
My Project
As the school year starts, students are excited to come back to school to be a part of a safe space and to learn. But, many students will need school supplies to ensure their success in the classroom.
Your donation will help encourage students to engage with the curriculum by breaking down monetary barriers.
In our school, many students are housing insecure and struggle to bring school supplies. As an educator of color with a similar background, I want my students to have access to a first-class education.
The books included are relevant to our demographic and will be a part of our growing classroom library. My students are amazing, fearless, and scholars. This donation will help them reach their full potential.
