My Project
My students continue to feel the impacts of COVID-19. Many students have not developed the needed skills to engage with others and to communicate effectively because of the isolation experienced during the pandemic. Through the use of games I will be able to help students learn to actively and effectively work together. These skills will also connect with a major goal of the class that I teach which is designed to prepare students for post-secondary success. Many employers have said that the lack of social skills job applicants demonstrate today are a big barrier in success.
