My students are amazing kids who face many challenges both at home and at school. My students all have various disabilities, but they don't let their disabilities hold them back.
All of my students are unique, but one thing is the same in each of them: they love to learn!
My students come from a variety of backgrounds and face many challenges before even entering our school. We work together every day to overcome those challenges and reach new heights. I work with about 75 special education students every week, reaching kids with various disabilities. My students love to move, explore, and play.
My Project
A number of my students have Autism and for many of them food and eating can be a challenge. For kids with autism, sometimes eating can be a challenge because of different sensory difficulties. For my kiddos with autism sometimes school lunch is too hot or too cold or tastes to strong or the texture is just not something they can bear to eat.
Hungry kids can't learn, and so we try to provide Ensure drinks to keep bellies full and brains learning.
Because of their autism, some of my students need extra nutrition in the form of Ensure drinks. Ensure plus some favorite snacks will keep my students healthy and ready to learn!
