My Project
In our classroom we love to learn and grow! As a teacher, it is my goal to have students strive toward academic excellence each day. However, sometimes this is challenging when students basic needs are not met. Many of our students come to school hungry. Having snacks in the classroom allows the students to have food when they need it. Having these supplies in the classroom will ultimately lead to higher engagement and learning as we can try to meet their basic needs and ensure they are not hungry while they are here at school.
