This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my gifted students are eager and ready to learn! They need novel, challenging lessons that help them leverage their verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal gifts. My gifted students are ready for hands-on, collaborative, and challenging learning experiences. Magnetic Tiles, building plank sets, a straw building kit, and other open-ended building materials directly relate to helping my students think like engineers.

S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Mathematics) activities require my gifted students to problem-solve while they collaborate with their intellectual peers during our Gifted Enrichment time.
