Help us explore the world around us! Our school library is outdated and lacks the resources necessary to enrich the 4th grade science curriculum.
My students are 9 and 10 year olds that have excitement in learning, especially when it comes to science.
They come from from a variety of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our science units in 4th grade are: Rocks and Minerals, Water, Electricity and Magnetism, and Structures of life.
My Project
I feel that students can never be surrounded by too many books. Students will be able to research and answer some of their science inquiries by using these books as a resource. My students will learn more about the world around them and specifically the topics we are discussing in science.
By donating to this project, you would help my class expand its library with some new and updated science books.
They would have access to these books without having to go to a library. Help my students become curious about the world we live in!
