Enriching Our Learning in Math, Science and Reading, OH MY!

My students need a projector so that they can ALL see the technology enrichment work that is part of our curriculum.

I teach all subjects to 18 Kindergartners at a science and math-focused magnet school in a high-need community.

One aspect of education that I feel is crucial to cultivate, even at such a young age, is technological education (especially working at a science and math-based school). My classroom, however, does not have the necessary equipment to expose my students to all of the wonderful "extras" that will enhance both their academic performance and their technological intelligence.

For this reason, I am asking for one LCD projector. Once in my classroom, I will be able to use my laptop to show my students the interactive math computer games, reading PowerPoint presentations, or science web-quests that at this point, I am not able to share with them.

By donating to this project, you will make it possible for my students to understand all the great ways technology can enhance their learning-- and make learning even MORE fun!
