Our class is made up of 40 darling kindergarten students who are creative, curious, and caring. They all come from differing backgrounds and circumstances. It is my #1 priority to create a classroom where my little leaders feel safe, supported, valued, and loved. This, in turn, creates a beautiful environment of discovery and learning.
Kindergarten cuties require engaging & reliable materials, books, and activities to expand their skills and knowledge.
My students are quick learners who thrive with variety as an enhancement in their learning experiences. As their teacher, I work to give all students learning opportunities to best suit their interests and learning styles.
We work together as a classroom family to celebrate our mistakes, learn from each other, honor our accomplishments, and love one another.
My Project
The new listening center and printer will help combat the impact of low vocabulary and phonics skills as a result of the Coronavirus. Students who listen to stories broaden their vocabulary and deepen their phonemic awareness skills. With the Yoto player and cards, students will learn new words, hear and use new phonics patterns and increase reading skills that have been staggered during the Coronavirus pandemic. With a brand new printer for our classroom, new and colorful materials, visual aids, and resources will be right at our fingertips and enhance our learning. We will be able to print games, flashcards, readers, and posters without having to send them to a commercial printer. Our classroom will have the engaging materials we need to help engage and enhance learning that has been staggered during the Coronavirus pandemic.
