Enrich Our Public Montessori Classroom

My students need comprehension skills and hands-on math activities, such as problem boxes, sorting boards and books, to help support our Montessori classroom.

My Students

"The first duty of an education is to stir up life, but leave it free to develop." These are Dr. Maria Montessori's words and I need your help to stir up my children's learning and entice their thirst for knowledge!

My class is a multi- age group of children consisting of 3-6 year-olds.

These children go to a public Montessori school in Chicago. Most of them receive free and reduced lunch. In a Montessori classroom, children stay for three years and benefit from materials developed by Dr. Montessori to be very hands on and self correcting.

My Project

These children learn best through independent and reflective works. The materials that I am requesting will be a very good compliment to the existing Montessori materials that we already have. The comprehension skills activities I have chosen will be effectively used during independent time. The math activities will help my students learn these concepts in a concrete way.

Please help my students get these materials that will spark their interests and propel them into acquiring these foundational skills.
