Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Now that the students are learning to read, a lot of them are wanting to explore more books. We have a limited amount and I would like to enrich our library.
By adding these books, the students get more engaged and have a passion for reading.
They are building their imagination and feeding their love for reading all at the same time.
Some of the books I have chosen will be read a loud and used not only to help build their comprehension skills but also to be used in our writing lessons. I can also incorporate this into math and art.
