This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Implementing toys into our creative curriculum will help students become engaged in not only circle time but also center time! These toys will create an environment for hands on learning and promote creativity for students.
By providing interactive learning toys I will be able to integrate the different subjects into student learning like math, science, and literacy.
The toys that will be donated will be implemented in the following units of study:
Buildings Unit
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Unit
Clothing Unit
Trees Unit
Exercise Unit
These toys will also allow students to focus on social skills such as problem solving, sharing, and enacting real life scenatios. Your support in providing these toys for our classroom will help me create an enriching and vibrant environment for all students.
